Background, all Office programs worked fine before the Windows 10 upgrade. The last time I used Word was Aug 23rd, which was just before the update. After the upgrade, everything would crash. Then I get a message saying that something went wrong and Word needs to close. It gives me option to repair, but that doesn’t do anything.
Other things I’ve tried:. I was thinking of deleting and reinstalling Office but I don’t think that will solve anything since the full repair didn’t. If an add-in is the issue, start your application in safe mode by holding the CTRL key down while you click on the application. If you see add-ins, start the application normally and disable add-ins one by one. You will want to restart the application after disabling each add-in to see if that helps.
