I first met Annette through the YMCA, about a year and half ago. From the very first class, I knew I wanted to learn more and I wanted Annette, to be the one to teach me! My Daughter and I have since taken private yoga lessons with Annette. We both found the lessons rich in knowledge and personalized to our needs.

I have also participated in the method, The Demartini Method. This was also done privately and at my own pace. Annette was very calming, personable and comforting while working through this process. When one is dealing with their own personal struggles, it can be very stressful and intimidating.

Annette makes the process very gentle and as fulfilling as possible. Annette is very caring, honest and a true people person. I highly recommend Annette for anyone of these methods and your life will be forever enriched.

I choose yoga to improve my health, both in mind and in body. I had 3 abdominal Surgeries within a year one of which was a kidney transplant where I experience numerous complications and setbacks. I was physically weak and emotionally stressed.

I attended 6 Weeks of Fundamentals course with Annette and has helped me find inner happiness, hope and confidence and strength to live in the moment and establish personal goals for myself .

Through Breathing and Yoga poses I am learning to relax, let go of stress and develop an inner awareness and acceptance of my body and its limitations.

I have arthritis in my hand and knee, and feet which at times can be debilitating .I am learning to start Where I am with my body each day, to let go of fear and insecurities and to find inner balance between my body, mind , heart and spirit.

I  am also learning to let go of judgment, criticizing and comparing myself to others, and to focus inwardly and build self acceptance and confidence .

I am developing the ability to bring my yoga practice into my everyday life. Not only have my blood test results improved dramatically , I choose yoga to help bring balance and wholeness to my life every day .

There are many benefits to the Six weeks Fundamentals Program and the biggest benefit for me was Confidence. I am now confident that I am into and maintaining the asana with correct alignment.  I am more like a beginner yoga person.. I’ve had about 10 different yoga instructors in my life…I found Annette to be the kindest and most motivating, allowing me to be myself. The thing I enjoy about her classes is that she would push you to do your best you could but understood there were days where your body wasn’t working as well and she would have no problem at all with you not doing that particular pose with the rest of the class..(Instead just doing something easier) and allowing me to be myself, yet still grow and stretch.
